Karen Clyne is the Head of Global Communications at BlackBerry. She manages a global team responsible for corporate communications, content strategy and campaigns, internal and external communications, crisis, social media, advocacy, executive thought leadership, and other opportunities to promote the brand. Before joining BlackBerry, she was Executive Vice President and Western Region General Manager at MWWPR. She also led the U.S. Technology Practice during her years there. Karen holds a BA in Communications from Saint Mary’s College of California, where she currently serves as a Regent on the Board of Regents for the College.

She is responsible for the team building and executing brand messaging, thought leadership, and storytelling, as well as the strategy, design and management of GE Healthcare's owned and paid channels including web, social media, content hub, email, advertising, media partnerships, and martech. Throughout her career, Kristin has helped non-profits and the private sector meaningfully engage with stakeholders and grow market share—working with innovative technology companies from start-ups to GE, and international development organizations from NGOs to the World Bank. Cindy Hoots is the Senior Manager, Employee Experience and Communications for Amazon Web Services, overseeing employee and culture communications, executive communications, and the storytelling strategy. In 2020, she launched a new content management system to help inform, inspire, and empower Amazon’s close to one million employees to be better brand advocates. With her 20 years of experience in external and internal communications, she found her passion in employee engagement, elevating the employee voice, and employee advocacy and activism. Before joining Amazon, Hoots managed employee engagement for Unilever North America and KPMG. She also led the external activist engagement strategy for Starbucks Coffee Company.

Rob Manfredo is a director of corporate communications for Huawei Technologies, USA. With a knack for uncovering the story that’s “most-likely to succeed,” Mr. Manfredo helps his organization navigate a difficult media environment as political and competitive issues mount. He believes that compelling content can unite stakeholders, brands and critics – and takes great care to optimize distribution across all channels.

Throughout his 20-year career he has supported some of the biggest global brands such as AT&T, Huawei, Johnson & Johnson, Samsung, SAP, Sony, VISA and Yahoo!. Mr. Manfredo is a media sharpshooter – part storyteller, part data analyst – and believes that it all starts with a strong narrative. A lifelong New Yorker, Mr. Manfredo resides in downtown Manhattan with his wife, Rachel and dog, Moxie. While pursuing a degree in Communications Studies from State University of New York, at Cortland, he planned to be the next Howard Stern. Most recently Chad led Pfizer's Digital & Social Communications team overseeing the creation, publishing and analytics of corporate content including the launch of their podcast series The Antigen - an eight-part audio-documentary style podcast about the scientific, cultural, and political elements of vaccination. Chad also spent more than a decade at Scripps Networks Interactive, the leader in non-fiction and unscripted storytelling, where he held several positions leading community, social and mobile teams.

Teri Wade has more than 25 years of experience leading non-profit communications programs for mission-driven organizations in a variety of fields, including health and human services, education, philanthropy, arts and culture, and social research. She is currently Vice President of Marketing and Communications at Amida Care, a nonprofit community health insurance plan for people with complex medical conditions. She previously held positions as Vice President for Communications at the Foundation Center (now known as Candid), a national organization that advances knowledge about philanthropy; and Director of Marketing at Baruch College/CUNY.

Wade is on the Board of Directors of Ariva, which empowers low-wealth New Yorkers to achieve economic stability. She holds a master’s degree in corporate communication from Baruch College and a B.A. in media studies from Fordham University. In 2019, she was recognized with a Schneps Media Power Women in Business award.
